I Can't Believe it's Back to School!

I'm so not ready for back to school.  The summer was great and went by way to fast for me.

We met their teacher's the other day.  Abby got Mrs. Nelson (McKay's teacher from last year). She is so excited.  Mrs. Nelson is so sweet and a fantastic teacher.  McKay got Miss. Steel.  She's new this year.  McKay has been really nervous about a new teacher.  He's even been begging me to home school him this year.  When we went to meet her McKay was more then apprehensive.  She was so great with him.  Just before we went to leave she asked him if he was excited for school to start.  He told her he "yea".  Which might not sound like much, but coming from McKay, it's like jumping up and down excited.  I about fell over.

Josie got to meet her teacher on the kids first day of school.  Her name is Mrs. Hermann.  She seems great as well.  When it was time to go Posie started to cry and said she wasn't ready to go yet because her new favorite teacher was going to miss her to much.  So I we took a picture of her so everyone could see.  And that made it all better.
I can tell it's going to be a great year once I get in the swing of things.

Josie!
I am so excited you are going to your 'apple' school. I liked meeting your teacher. She is very nice. Thank you for coming to stay with Grandma when your mom and dad were in New York. You were such a good girl. I love to watch you play with Fancy Nancy and her dog Frenchie. You are so creative and fun.
Grandma is so happy you are my grand-daughter.
I love you very much!
